The crew loads a truck with equipment and loads it at the gig. We are skilled and assembling large, complex systems, and operating them. We have learned to deal with very stressed out people, and are constantly working with other crews to prepare for an event.

We also keep up with the latest advances in technology, as we are always looking to upgrade. At most events, we are not only sound engineers but also safety and security engineers.

The driver was responsible for driving large orders of supplies to local distributors. I had to deal personally with managers and owners of upholstery repair shops. There was also money exchanges and signings of invoices. I was a line of communication between my supervisor and the local owners.

The crew leader was the manager of a particular shift and was responsible for handling money, productivity of staff, and all closing and opening responsibilities.
